Cyclone Mokha hit the coast of Cox's Bazar and Myanmar on Sunday (May 14) around 3 pm.
Residents of Saint martain said there was no tide during Mokha's rampage. The island of Saint Martin stands in the ocean. Nearly 90 percent of Saint Martin's homes were severely damaged. More than 1,000 trees on the island have collapsed. 11 people were injured when the tree fell, but no one was killed.
Mujibur Rahman, chairman of St. Martin Union Parishad, said that many houses and tin rice were blown away in this island due to Mokha's rampage. Assistance will be given to those who are most affected.
Deputy Commissioner(DC) of Cox's Bazar Shaheen Imran said that Mokhar's rampage has completely relaxed after evening.
